Bilingual Trip to London.

Portraits. Retratos.
Bilingual Show, 21st December

As an end-of-term activity, the students from the Bilingual Section organized a show in collaboration with the students in 1 BTA to collect money for their trip to London. They performed different songs, dances and even a hilarious comedy sketch called “Instinto Blásico”. In spite of the first moments of nervousness, the Bilingual Show turned out to be very successful and a number of parents, relatives and students came to our school auditorium to share this wonderful musical evening with us.

HALLOWEEN
Posted by carbajalmasso on Octubre 31st, 2007 filed in Bilingual NewsLast 31st October our students of the Bilingual Section and most of the other students celebrated Halloween. They decorated the hall (this panel was made by students of 2B) and displayed posters, drawings, letters and clippings on different boards. Although for them it isn’t a deeply-rooted custom it allows them to understand this festival in other countries. For instance Halloween is in Great Britain so important as Carnival is in Spain.
European Day of Languages
Posted by Javi on Octubre 2nd, 2007 filed in Bilingual NewsLast 26th September our students of the Bilingual Section and Bachillerato celebrated the European day of languages. They decorated the hall and displayed posters, drawings, maps and clippings on different boards giving an overview of the variety of languages around the world and the importance of plurilingualism today.
They also took a quiz based on European culture where they had to describe flags, find information about important European celebrities like Einstein or translate “hello” into different languages.
The languages used in the activities were English and French and they could be done thanks to the French and English departments as well as the department of extra curricular activities.

To my bilingual students,
I just wanted to drop a few lines to tell you that the first “bilingual” year came to an end successfully and now I must congratulate you on your work and your excellent results in general. I would like to encourage you to keep up your English by practising it during this summer and not to forget all you have learnt throughout the year.
Have a nice summer!
Bilingual Gathering
